Pnigomantis medioconstricta is a fantastic species to keep. They come in a variety of colors, but always have distinct stripes and the characteristic "double shield". This species reaches around 8cm for females, with males being a hair shorter. As nymphs, they are very stocky, with huge arms. Adults usually turn a pale grey with checkered wings, and have two unique yellow cheek patches on the face.
